Red Rocks Mystic

I learned today that Starbucks has something that’s been nicknamed the Medicine Ball. It’s Citrus Mint Honey Tea, and feeling a scratchy throat and a little congestion, I felt obliged to try. When I got up the hill where I live along the front range, I saw thin bands of clouds weaving like snakes through the rock formations. I changed plans, and instead of taking my Medicine Ball home, I grabbed my camera and headed to Red Rocks.

One of my new writing projects is a documentary film about the life of John Brisben Walker, the visionary who first began to develop Red Rocks as a park and world-class Amphitheatre. Some dramatic photographs may find their way into the project.
