Kerry Gleason speaks at The National Baseball Hall of Fame
Kerry’s Cooperstown Adventure
After finishing the first draft of The Giant & The Tiger, a historical biography about two Baseball Hall of Famers who played in the 1890s and continued on as managers, I was invited by a SABR group to present a portion of my research at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, N.Y. It was like a dream come true to speak before other baseball scholars and researchers about “The McGraw-Jennings Baseball Incubator at St. Bonaventure.” The 17th Annual Frederick Ivor-Campbell 1890s Base Ball Conference was organized by the Society for American Baseball Research. I was one of 15 presenters.
Upon my return, I’ve been working diligently to find a publisher for the book. Here’s the presentation in its entirety.
Previously, I have spoken at colleges, libraries and professional organizations about books and screenplays I have authored.
